Description
The painting "Led By the Spirit into the Wilderness" captures the moment when Jesus Christ, determined and resolute, is led by the Spirit into the wilderness to fast for forty days before being tempted by Satan. The painting is beautifully rendered in stunning earth tones, with heavenly lighting that casts a glow around Jesus and emphasizes his spiritual journey.
The artist has skillfully captured the powerful imagery of Jesus on his way to the wilderness, with the dusty road and the light shining down behind him, creating a sense of the divine and the holy. The use of earth tones in the painting creates a warm and natural atmosphere that adds to the contemplative mood of the painting, and the minimalist style of the painting allows the viewer to focus on the emotions and expression of the subject.
This painting is a powerful reminder of the Bible story of Jesus being led by the Spirit into the wilderness and the temptation that follows. It would make a fitting addition to any church, home, or institution that wants to convey the message of Jesus as a man of deep faith and devotion, as well as a spiritual guide for us to follow.

Awesome! I think it’s very possible that the look on His face was that determined as he went to fast & be tempted by the evil one…for forty days, too! Long time without food. Anyway, great depiction Greg & congrats on your sale!
